PRACTICE ACTIVITIES :-

1974-75 Researched fairground lettering and painting techniques. Met and worked with celebrated fairground decorators, Mr Fred Fowle and Ms Lesley Martin.

1975-80 Visited and travelled with the circus and fairgrounds of East Anglia. Of specific importance – paintings, drawings and photographs re: “Jacko Fosset”, Hippodrome Circus, Great Yarmouth.

1981 Travelled and worked in France and Greece. Renewed interest in landscape.

1983 Travelled and worked in Provence, France.

1983-87 Print sales: represented by “Art Works” Nottingham and London.

1985 Received East Midlands Arts nomination for the Whitbread “Young Artist of the Year Award”.

1986 East Midlands Arts with Lings Forum, Northampton: Mural Project.

1976-87 Lecturer A/L. Nene College, Northampton.

1987-94 Lecturer F/T. Leeds Metropolitan University.

1994-99 Lecturer P/T. Cleveland College of Art and Design.

1994-2004 Lived and worked in Westmorland, Cumbria.

1996-97 Tutor: Rufford Arts Society Drawing Workshop.

1997 Travelled and worked in British Columbia, Canada.
